Lifelong support for children born with CHD
Heart Children Ireland is the national charity providing life-long support to children born with congenital heart disease (CHD). Often CHD is described as a heart condition or defect. One in 100 babies born in Ireland will have a form of CHD. Heart Children are committed to supporting children and their families affected by CHD. Established to provide practical, emotional, and financial assistance.
Heart Children Ireland works tirelessly to improve the quality of life for those living with CHD. Their services include Play Therapy for heart kids and their siblings, counselling with a Senior Clinical Psychologist, specialised medical equipment, hardship funding for families in the Children’s Heart Centre in CHI Crumlin, training for parents and Heart Family Social events to connect people in the CHD Community. By partnering with Heart Children Ireland, we aim to contribute to their vital efforts and ensure that every child with CHD receives the holistic care and support they need.
